New Friends of the Library

New Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library
 
The New Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to maintain an association of people interested in the welfare and promotion of the library.  Membership is open to anyone or any family who wishes to support the library and its activities.
 
  •    Volunteer organization that supports the library
  •    Provide and serve refreshments at many of the library's programs
  •    Membership dues are $5 per year and include entrance to "members only" days at the book sales
  •   Monthly meetings held the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30p.m. in the library multi-purpose room

The group sponsors the library’s Family Christmas Party along with the children’s, teen’s and adult’s Summer Reading Programs each year by supplying prizes, entertainers and new paperback books for each child who completes the program reading requirements.  Funds have also purchased computers, printers, a digital camera, CDs and DVDs.  Funds from the group are derived from the $5 annual membership dues, the two yearly book sales and yearly yard sale.
