Countdown to Holiday Party
The Milton-Union Public Library will be giving away prizes for patrons with an item on the hold shelf everyday beginning after Thanksgiving and leading up to the Community Holiday Night December 7th from 6-8PM. Place an item on hold for a chance to win and be sure to enter into our prize basket giveaway for door prizes during the night of the party. We are excited to see everyone there!

The Evening Book Club will meet Monday December 4th at 7PM to discuss "Visions of Sugarplums" by Janet Evanovich. Extra copies will be on hold at the Milton-Union Public Library.
This event is brought to us by Sandy Gurklies from the Troy-Miami County Public Library. She will be detailing the stories of women from Miami County who had "odd" jobs for their times. One story that will be detailed is that of Betty Lund, the wife of a stunt pilot. Lund's husband died in a plane crash and she eventually took over as the pilot for their stunt show. More stories like this one will be detailed in this event.
This class will teach individuals how to write an effective resume. there will be no computer usage in this class. we ask you to bring any and all necessary papers that will help aid you in writing a resume (i.e. jobs; positions; education; volunteer opportunities you have done in the past. Please sign up a head of time to attend this informative class.

Teens and adults are invited to submit their written poems. These poems should be submitted to muplsubmissions@gmail.com. Submitted poems will be collected and combined into a book house here at the library. Poems are due by April 22.
