Come in today and plan to explore one of our many local attractions!
We are happy to announce we now have a Discovery Pass Program. This program allows patrons of the library to check out passes to local museums free of cost.
Please do not hesitate to call or inquire about this program at the front desk.
We are pleased to announce an opportunity to enjoy videos of popular children’s books, recorded in both English and American Sign Language.
The entertaining videos were created and edited by Worthington Libraries with Ohio Citizens for Deaf Cultures providing the ASL interpreters. Each video contains the illustrated story, ASL interpretation, audible narration, and closed-captioning.
Say hello to Wendy Heisey! Before she became the Children’s Librarian, Wendy graduated from Northmont High School and received her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine at Wilmington College in Ohio. She is a member of the Hoffman United Methodist Church in West Milton where she has many responsibilities ranging from trustee member to door greeter.
Throughout the month of January beginning Jan. 1.
There will be two different age groups: K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.
Children will receive activity bags with directions, activities, and a reading log sheet.
When requirements have been completed, return the activity bag to the library by Monday, January 31 to receive a prize!
Milton-Union Public Library will host a program beginning Tuesday, February 1st, that is sure to ignite the hunger for reading. This program, designed for ages K-5th grade, is as easy as pie...or, maybe breadsticks.
For each grade level, different requirements must be met:
K-2nd graders must read a book daily or have a book read to them and the title of the book must be recorded on the reading log.
