Join the Lego Mania Club at the Milton-Union Public Library. Each meeting will have a theme or you can just free style build. Special thank you to the Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library and the Miami County Foundation for the grant to purchase the Lego's.

Teens 18 and under can create a tower out of cardboard boxes on the front lawn of the library. We will also have a fun outdoor giant slingshot game to play. Bring a friend and join in the fun at the Milton-Union Public Library.

Solar Eclipse Program

The Milton-Union Public Library will present amateur astronomers Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Joann Wagner, members of the Stillwater Stargazers 12:30PM August 12th. The Wagners will discuss the upcoming Solar Eclipse of Aug 21, 2017. Topics will include the why and how of eclipses, the 90% eclipse of this area, the eclipse path, various viewing options, and safety that must be observed with all forms of solar viewing. There will also be a Q&A afterwards. The Wagners will bring along Hydrogen Alpha, a special filter for viewing the sun, and white light solar telescopes.

The Milton-Union Public Library will be hosting an open house during the August 21st Solar Eclipse. Everyone is encouraged to get to the library at 12:45PM to get Eclipse viewing glasses. There will also be a live stream viewing option available inside the library. Light refreshments will be provided and everyone is welcome during this celestial event!
