The SAFY organization will be teaching the first steps toward learning more about foster care and what is involved in opening your home to children who need families to thrive. This informational program will be held in the multi-purpose room at 7 PM.
Bring a sack lunch and stop in the library to learn about "Caring for the Caregiver". The Lunch and Learn will be from 12-1 PM in the multi-purpose room.
A children's program all about cars. Children will be able to color their own cars and take them home as a prize! There will also be car themed refreshments, decorations, and books available for checkout. The program will begin at 6:30 in the multipurpose room.
The book this month is "Olive Kitteridge" by Elizabeth Strout. The group will meet from noon to 1:30PM in the multipurpose room.

Stock up your personal library at the New Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library’s semi-annual book sale Sept. 8-10.
Bring your quarters, as paperbacks and children’s books are only 25 cents, and adult books are 50 cents. You can find hardbacks, textbooks, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, puzzles and more for purchase.
Members’ night for New Friends only is Thursday, Sept. 8 from 4-8 p.m. Become a member that night for only $5.
The Book Sale will be Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a bag sale the last two hours on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. Bags will be provided.

The Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library will be having a book sale in the multipurpose room open to the public from 9-5PM.
The first day of the book sale is exclusive to members of the Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library. Ask about joining the Friends to get the first picks in the book sale from 4-8 PM.
What is Anime and Manga? This month's Anime Club will have a Comi-con theme. Learn about the large gatherings of otaku happening across the world. Watch anime on the big screen online and make like-minded friends. Anime Club will meet once a month on a Saturday from 1-3 PM. The Milton-Union Public Library is very thankful to the Miami County Foundation for providing the grant money which was used to purchase our big screen.
Join us at the library to play video games on a giant screen. Hang out with other teens and play games like Mariokart, Smash bros., and more...
Play Nintendo Wii, get a Minecraft laptop to join a server with your friends, or play giant board games. Wii parties will be held one Saturday a month from 1-3 PM.
