Anime is all about Japanese comics, film and pop culture.  Join J.D. to watch Anime at the Library on the big screen. Don’t know what Anime is? Come to find out! Learn about Japanese culture through their cartoons.  Request your favorite anime to watch online or draw your own.  There will also be a cosplay contest (costume play). Dress up as your favorite anime character. The library is grateful to the Miami County Foundation for providing the funding for our new big screen.

What is Anime and Manga? This month's Anime Club will have a Comi-con theme. Learn about the large gatherings of otaku happening across the world. Watch anime on the big screen online and make like-minded friends. Anime Club will meet once a month on a Saturday from 1-3 PM.  The Milton-Union Public Library is very thankful to the Miami County Foundation for providing the grant money which was used to purchase our big screen.

Stock up your personal library at the New Friends of the Milton-Union Public Library’s semi-annual book sale Sept. 8-10.

Bring your quarters, as paperbacks and children’s books are only 25 cents, and adult books are 50 cents. You can find hardbacks, textbooks, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, puzzles and more for purchase.

Members’ night for New Friends only is Thursday, Sept. 8 from 4-8 p.m. Become a member that night for only $5.

The Book Sale will be Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a bag sale the last two hours on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. Bags will be provided.
