The High Nooners Book Discussion will be Thursday December 14th at 12PM.
Tony Smith, a professor from Seminole Florida will be signing books in the library's multipurpose room and following the book signing will begin an information session about writing a book and using Amazon's self-publishing service. Anyone interested in public speaking or self-publishing is invited to attend. The program is Saturday December 30th from 10AM to 12PM in the multipurpose room.
Join us Tuesday, January 9th 2018 to make a Valentine Wreath. Craft a wreath just in time for Valentine's Day! We'll adhere different types of paper to a wreath form.
There is no school on this day, and children are invited to come to the library from 1:00-2:00 PM. There will be multiple activities to choos from. Lego building, crafts, games, and snacks! NO sign ups required ages K-12th grade.
Learn about the history of igloos including who makes them, where they are found, what they are made of and a slide show presenting photos of various igloos. There will be a craft where kids will get to make an igloo out of sugar cubes. Other fun activities include a paper snowball fight, coloring pages, and making an igloo book! There will be an igloo story time and light refreshments will be served. No sign-ups required. All ages welcome.
A local expert will be offering 30-minute help sessions for those who need help with their computers from 9:30AM-12PM once a month. Library laptops will be available if you are not able to bring your own. Call the library at 937-698-5515 or ask at the front desk to sign up.
High Nooners is the Adult Book Club offered at the Milton-Union Public Library. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month. Copies of the current month's book is available at the Milton-Union Public Library.

Teens 18 and under are invited to check out the Sphero robot at the Milton-Union Public Library. Interact with Sphero using code and an iPad. Learn while having fun. This program will be Saturday January 20th from 2-4 PM in the multipurpose room.
Teens 18 and under are invited to watch Anime at the Milton-Union Public Library on the big screen. Share your favorite anime and check out the graphic novels and DVDs at the library. Special thank you to the Miami County Foundation for the donation of the big screen!
The health and safety of the staff and patrons during the COVID-19 pandemic are our main concern. After much consideration, the Milton-Union Public Library has decided to close the library and suspend all operations as of Wednesday, March 18 at 8:00pm until further notice.
The Library will regularly evaluate the situation to determine the appropriate date to resume services.
By Mid March, Census 2020 packets will be mailed out. Everyone should now be starting to receive their 2020 Census packets. The packets contain a unique ID to identify your household. You can respond to this invitation online, on the phone, or fill out the questionnaire. Instructions are included on how you can respond to the census form.

As of 3/23/2020, our library book drop is temporarily closed. You can enjoy your items a little longer. We will update you when it is re-opened. We are fine free, so no need to worry about incurred fees during this time. Although you may not be able to visit our Library in person right now, you can take advantage of some of our Digital Resources!
