Please join us at the library to welcome author Rob Brundrett for an evening discussion on his new book Girl from the Racetrack.
While his first book, Vietnam on my Mind, consisted of ten stories based on actual events in Vietnam, the new book is a work of fiction. The story takes place with horse racing and the Vietnam War as a backdrop, but the storyline is primarily about the relationship of the two people and how their love flourished despite the impediments of war as they together faced enemy shelling, the Easter Offensive and escape from enemy forces.
