Miami County Public Health and Ohio Department of Health have partnered to bring this event to the library. Representatives will be at the library with the goal of distributing cribettes to mothers in need of a safe sleeping environment who may not be able to afford cribs. The eligibility to receive a crib is: 32-40 weeks pregnant or with a child under the age of 1 year old, financially eligible for WIC and must live in Miami County. This program is also open to grandparents, caregivers or any other family member who may care for the child.
