The Milton-Union Public Library will present amateur astronomers Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Joann Wagner, members of the Stillwater Stargazers 12:30PM August 12th. The Wagners will discuss the upcoming Solar Eclipse of Aug 21, 2017. Topics will include the why and how of eclipses, the 90% eclipse of this area, the eclipse path, various viewing options, and safety that must be observed with all forms of solar viewing. There will also be a Q&A afterwards. The Wagners will bring along Hydrogen Alpha, a special filter for viewing the sun, and white light solar telescopes. There will be solar viewing after the presentations weather permitting.
