Say hello to Wendy Heisey! Before she became the Children’s Librarian, Wendy graduated from Northmont High School and received her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine at Wilmington College in Ohio. She is a member of the Hoffman United Methodist Church in West Milton where she has many responsibilities ranging from trustee member to door greeter. She has had many jobs, including athletic trainer, waitress, preschool teacher, substitute teacher, cashier, physical therapy aid, catering, and a factory job before she found her job at the library in 2005 where she not only takes care of the children’s area but also orders books for ages newborn to 5th grade, as well as planning and implementing programs.
Wendy is married with two kids and moved to West Milton in 2000. She enjoys reading, walking, watching movies, and shopping. Her favorite color is purple. She is a member of the West Milton Rotary Club, which she absolutely loves. She is passionate about helping children and her community and thinks our small town is wonderful.
